Why Faith?

“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” – James 1:12

Faith is not the struggle or the hardship, but rather it is the result of endurance through trials, hope in Christ, trust in His will, and a consistent desire to grow closer to Him in every possible way, every single day.

Faith is the bond between Christ and His followers; it is what allows for complete trust in the unknown. Faith is the unshakeable foundation we must build in Christ, through Christ, and for Christ.

Without faith, we can’t possibly have trust or belief in God, but with faith – with a steadfast desire to build that relationship with Him – we stand to inherit the ultimate gift which has been promised to us – the Kingdom of heaven.

“Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your name. You’re mine. When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end because I am your God. Your personal God, the Holy Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you! That’s how much you mean to me! That’s how much I love you!” – Isaiah 43:1-4
